Today we had our Owl Presentation with Miss Kat from AIWC! We learned all about different Owls that live in Alberta and the different sounds that owls make. Ask me about some of the funny sounds we heard!
We also got to dissect an owl pellet and meet Griffin the Red-Tailed Hawk!
AIWC helps all kinds of Owls and animals. If you ever find an animal in need, call AIWC!
Today was a Litter-less Lunch day. We had about 50% participation! Please remember every Wednesday will be a Litter-less Lunch Day.
eCycle Fundraiser! You may have noticed a new sign on the front of our school. We are having an electronic recycling fundraiser on Saturday!
"Do you have any old TVs, VCRs, or computers that you have wanted to get rid of?? On Saturday, March 18thEcycle Solutions will be setting up a drop-off spot here at ROS. You can come and drop off any of your old electronics at the school to be recycled! It is good for the environment as it keeps these items out of the landfill and will also help us raise money for the school. Items can be dropped off between 9am-3pm on March 18th."
If you have not yet paid for the Skunk/Owl presentations, please pay the $8.52 online asap!
