Yesterday in Math we read a story about the
“MaSloppy’s” They had a very unorganized house and need to count and organize
various items in each room. Students were given the opportunity to think of
their own strategies and organizational methods to count and organize various
items in our classrooms.
Here are some ideas they came up with so far:
Try counting and organizing with labels, items at home such as pencils, socks, shoes etc.
We had a visit from our buddies today and showed
them how much progress we are making in our reading.
Please keep reading every night for 15 minutes
to enhance your child’s decoding abilities and reinforce their understanding of
what they are reading. Having a quick conversation about the text or making a
connection to their own personal life is a great way to engage our budding
readers! Keep up the great work everyone!!
