Next week is going to be full of fun events at Royal Oak School as we get ready to say farewell for the summer!

Students are asked to please bring a reusable bag to school next week. We will begin to send home student work and items may not fit into their backpacks. Please send these ASAP. Students can keep the cloth or reusable bag on their coat hook until it's needed.

Special Events happening next week:

Monday, June 26 - Teddy Bear Picnic: Grade one students will be having an outside teddy bear picnic (indoors if it rains!) Students are encouraged to bring a stuffy and blanket to sit on and maybe an extra snack for that day!

Wednesday, June 28th - Fun Lunch BBQ: students will eat lunch outside on this day. If you have not ordered fun this for this day, students will need to bring a lunch to school.

Thursday, June 29th - Board Games:  If your child would like to bring a board game or puzzle to school to enjoy showing their classmates how to play.

A note from Ms. Sparks:

Dear Parents:
Recently, we have noticed an increase of fidget spinners at school which are causing disruptions in the classroom, office, lunch room and during recess. We are asking that these fidget spinners please stay at home.
If you have a doctor’s note that states your child requires a fidget spinner for educational purposes, please provide a copy of this note to your child’s teacher.
Thank you for your anticipated cooperation.
Sincerely,
Lynn Sparks, Principal
